Job description

We're seeking a Finance and Administration Mastermind! In this role, you'll be responsible for our financial administration, working alongside the Head of Finance. You'll have significant flexibility regarding where you work, as our tasks need to be systematically completed daily, weekly, and monthly. This flexibility is a distinct advantage compared to roles in operations or marketing, which require physical presence at specific locations. In addition to financial administration, this position also involves coordinating procurement management and being part of our international expansion plan, where you will guide the Project Team with all the financial know-how. What will you be doing to make that happen?

  • Being the contact and support person for managers regarding the overall administration

  • Creating SEPA payment batches for approved invoices

  • Being responsible for general ICT support and initiating proposals for the automation of programs within the company

  • Supervising and improving internal automation projects

  • Cross charging overhead costs to the various cost centers/units according to applicable allocation keys

  • Preparing investment proposals to the management with the corresponding cost-benefit analysis

  • Checking and processing "end of month" financial tasks (stock lists, monthly cash reports, up-to-date prices, etc.)

  • Keeping accounts payable/receivable data up-to-date, notifying/implementing any necessary changes

  • Control ledger accounts and outstanding items list on monthly basis 

  • Prepare annual statements and year close

  • Survey cash flow statements and P&L forecasts for our new locations (nationally and internationally)

  • Optimize procurement and supplier contracts 

Experience in the following systems would be beneficial: Twinfield, Dext, NMBRS, TheNextInvoice, Ezora.

Requirements

Your excellent eye for numbers and attention to detail will ensure our administration runs smoothly. Additionally, you must be a proactive communicator in both Dutch and English to effectively collaborate with our team.
